व्यवहार

limit(...) स्टेज में, सिर्फ़ पहले N दस्तावेज़ दिखाए जाएंगे. अगर सीमा से पहले sort(...) स्टेज का इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाता है, तो दस्तावेज़ों को वापस लाने का क्रम स्थिर नहीं होता. साथ ही, बार-बार किए जाने वाले अनुरोधों से अलग-अलग नतीजे मिल सकते हैं.
