اسناد موجود در خط لوله‌ی دیگر را با اسناد موجود در خط لوله‌ی فعلی ادغام می‌کند.

رفتار

این مرحله چندین خط لوله را به صورت موازی اجرا می‌کند و نتایج را با هم ترکیب می‌کند.

ترتیب غیر قطعی نتایج

ترتیب ترکیب نتایج بین دو خط لوله قطعی نیست. هر ترتیبی که در نظر گرفته شود ناپایدار است و نباید به آن اعتماد کرد. در صورت نیاز به ترتیب پایدار، می‌توان مرحله sort(...) زیر را اضافه کرد.

نتایج تکراری

مرحله union(...) نتایج تکراری را حذف نمی‌کند. در صورت نیاز به حذف نتایج تکراری، می‌توان مرحله distinct(...) یا aggregate(...) بعدی را اضافه کرد.
