Événements pour les changements locaux

Les écritures locales dans votre application appelleront immédiatement les écouteurs d'instantanés. Cela est dû à une fonctionnalité importante appelée « compensation de latence ». Lorsque vous effectuez une écriture, vos auditeurs seront informés des nouvelles données avant que les données ne soient envoyées au backend.

Les documents récupérés ont une propriété metadata.hasPendingWrites qui indique si le document comporte des modifications locales qui n'ont pas encore été écrites dans le backend. Vous pouvez utiliser cette propriété pour déterminer la source des événements reçus par votre écouteur d'instantané :

Événements pour les modifications de métadonnées

Lorsque vous écoutez des modifications apportées à un document, une collection ou une requête, vous pouvez transmettre des options pour contrôler la granularité des événements que votre auditeur recevra.

Par défaut, les auditeurs ne sont pas informés des modifications qui affectent uniquement les métadonnées. Considérez ce qui se passe lorsque votre application écrit un nouveau document :

  1. Un événement de changement est immédiatement déclenché avec les nouvelles données. Le document n'a pas encore été écrit dans le backend, donc l'indicateur « écritures en attente » est true .
  2. Le document est écrit dans le backend.
  3. Le backend informe le client de la réussite de l'écriture. Il n'y a aucun changement dans les données du document, mais il y a un changement de métadonnées car l'indicateur « écritures en attente » est désormais false .

L'état initial peut provenir directement du serveur, ou d'un cache local. Si un état est disponible dans un cache local, l'instantané de requête sera initialement rempli avec les données mises en cache, puis mis à jour avec les données du serveur lorsque le client aura rattrapé l'état du serveur.

Détacher un auditeur

Lorsque vous n'êtes plus intéressé par l'écoute de vos données, vous devez détacher votre écouteur afin que vos rappels d'événements cessent d'être appelés. Cela permet au client de cesser d'utiliser la bande passante pour recevoir les mises à jour. Par exemple:

Gérer les erreurs d'écoute

Une écoute peut parfois échouer, par exemple en raison d'autorisations de sécurité ou si vous avez essayé d'écouter une requête non valide. (En savoir plus sur les requêtes valides et non valides .)
