Access

Will the sessions be livestreamed? What if I can’t follow the event in real time?

We want you to be able to access the content however it works best for you. The event will livestream directly from the Firebase Summit 2020 website on 27 October, starting at 9:30 AM PT.

The livestream offers a live viewing experience featuring the keynote, full coverage of all sessions as they happen, and a chance to chat with the Firebase team while you watch!

If you are busy at work or need to work around a tricky time difference, all sessions will be available on demand following the keynote on firebase.google.com/summit/on-demand.

Do I need to register to watch the event?

You do not need to register to watch any of the videos or access any of the other content. However, you will need to sign-in with a Google account if you would like to participate in the live chat and Q&A.

How do I access the videos on demand?

All videos will be available on demand following the keynote on 27 October on firebase.google.com/summit/on-demand, or the YouTube channel in the days after the event.

I have questions but missed #AskFirebase Live. Can I still ask my questions?

Even though you’ve missed the live session, you can still use the event Q&A to ask any questions you might have. It will be up throughout the two days of the event, and someone will respond to your questions within 24 hours.

What is a Dory?

The Dory is the official Event Q&A tool. It is a Google tool to help spark engaging conversations between speakers and attendees. Share ideas, and ask, vote and comment on questions!

Where do I find the codelabs?

You can access all of the codelabs, along with walkthrough videos, under the 'Learn' tab on firebase.google.com/summit/learn. We have four new Firebase codelabs as well as five Pathways for you to dive even deeper into topics.

How do I use the online demos?

Click on the link for each demo to launch the experience - it will open in a separate window or tab. More instructions will be included once you open each demo.

Do I need to log-in to use the demos?

No, you do not need to log-in to use any of the demos.

How can I stay up-to-date on what's happening?
