What's Firebase Summit?
Firebase Summit is our annual developer conference. It's a great opportunity to learn about Firebase products, provide feedback to our team, and connect with the Firebase developer community.
When and where is Firebase Summit 2022?
Firebase Summit 2022 was held in front of a limited live audience on October 18 in New York City, and key moments were livestreamed for virtual attendees.
What does Firebase Summit cost?
There is no cost for a ticket to Firebase Summit. However, in-person attendees are responsible for covering any costs related to their travel and accommodation.
What will virtual content look like?
The Keynote, #AskFirebase Live and Ignite Talks will be livestreamed. All content will be available on-demand following the event to watch at your convenience.
I was selected to attend in person, where can I get more information?
All information for those attending in person is available on the event site here.
What is a Google Developer Profile?
Creating a Google Developer Profile gives you the ability to earn event badges, set interest preferences, receive content recommendations, and share your achievements.
Registering for a Developer Profile is different than registering for Firebase Summit 2022. You can create your Developer Profile here.
What is a learning pathway?
These are self-guided learning experiences that help you learn more about Firebase products. You can grow your knowledge and skills at your own pace through sequential learning experiences that include articles, hands-on codelabs, quizzes, and videos. Plus, you can earn Google Developer Profile badges for completing these lessons.
Where do I find the learning pathways?
You can access all of the learning pathways under the 'Learn' tab on firebase.google.com/learn. We have four new Firebase pathways for you to dive even deeper into topics.
Registration
How do I get a ticket for the in-person event on October 18 in New York City?
Anyone can register and request a ticket to attend the in-person event for free here. We will review all requests, but we will only issue tickets to a small number of developers due to venue capacity limits.
Is travel included?
Accommodation and travel expenses are not covered.
Where is Firebase Summit being held in New York City?
Firebase Summit 2022 was held at Pier 57 in New York City. For more information about the venue, please visit the venue page on this website.
Should I still register if I plan to attend virtually?
Yes! We recommend anyone planning to attend virtually register so you can receive important event updates. Please register here.

What happens if I violate the Community Guidelines?
Google reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from, any Google hosted event (including future Google events) at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the conference with no refund or blocking the offender's account from participating online.
Please review our Community Guidelines to ensure that Firebase Summit is a harassment-free and inclusive event experience for everyone. At Firebase Summit, we take our Community Guidelines seriously, and all attendees, speakers, and staff at our event are required to agree to these guidelines.
What is DevFest and how can I participate?
DevFests are local tech conferences hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDG) around the world. Each DevFest event is crafted by its local organizers to fit the needs and interests of its local developer community. Whether it be through hands-on learning experiences, technical talks delivered in local languages by experts, or by simply meeting fellow local developers, DevFest attendees learn how to build together and innovate using Google's developer tools.

You may not register on behalf of anyone else.
Firebase Summit registration must be used by the original registrant and is non-transferable.
All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. All information must be entered in English. Some of the information entered (such as name and company), will be displayed to other users if you contribute to Q&As or participate in Chat.
By registering you acknowledge that your information will be used in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
By registering and accepting any discounts, gifts, or items of value related to Firebase Summit, you certify that you are able to do so in compliance with applicable laws and the internal rules of your organization.
Attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend Firebase Summit.
Attendees must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (physical vaccination card or photo) in order to enter event venue.
Virtual attendance at Firebase Summit is not allowed by the following:
residents of embargoed countries;
individuals ordinarily resident in embargoed countries; or
individuals otherwise prohibited by applicable exports controls or local law.
You agree to follow the Community Guidelines and be solely responsible for your own safety and well-being while participating virtually in Firebase Summit. Google LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for your participation in Firebase Summit.
Photographs and/or video taken at Firebase Summit by Google, or others on behalf of Google, may include your image or likeness. You agree that Google may use such photographs and/or video for any purpose without compensation to you.
No solicitation or selling of items or services is allowed at Google I/O. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from the event.
Applicants and attendees can request the deletion of their registration data after the event ends by emailing firebase-summit@google.com.
Registration may not be sold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way, and doing so may result in Google rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to Google.
All registered attendees agree to allow Google to contact them regarding their registration and attendance at the event. By registering, you agree to allow Google to communicate with you via email with information regarding the event.
You agree to be solely responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being while participating in Firebase Summit. Google LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for your participation in Firebase Summit.
