Cloud Firestore で単純なクエリと複合クエリを実行する

Cloud Firestore は、コレクションまたはコレクション グループから取得するドキュメントを指定するための優れたクエリ機能を備えています。これらのクエリは、データを取得するリアルタイム アップデートを入手するで説明しているように、get() または addSnapshotListener() とともに使用することもできます。

このクエリは、capital フィールドが存在し、その値が false または null 以外のすべての city ドキュメントを返します。これには、capital フィールドの値が true であるか、または null 以外の非ブール値である city ドキュメントが含まれます。

このクエリは、capital フィールドが存在しない city ドキュメントを返しません。不等価(!=)と not-in が使用されるクエリでは、指定されたフィールドが存在しないドキュメントは除外されます

値が設定されていれば、その値にかかわらずフィールドは存在すると判断されます。たとえば、値が空の文字列("")、nullNaN(数値ではない)でも、フィールドは存在するとみなされます。なお、x != nullundefined と評価されるため、フィールドの値が null の場合、!= 句とは一致しません。

制限事項

!= クエリの次の制限事項に注意してください。

  • 指定したフィールドが存在するドキュメントのみがクエリにマッチングされます。
  • 複合クエリで not-in!= を組み合わせることはできません。

not-in クエリでは、指定されたフィールドが存在しないドキュメントは除外されます。フィールドが存在する場合、その値がどのようなものであっても存在すると判断されます。たとえば、値が空の文字列("")、nullNaN(数値ではない)でも、存在することに変わりはありません。x != nullundefined と評価されることに注意してください。比較値の 1 つとして null を指定した not-in クエリは、どのドキュメントにも一致しません。

array-contains-any の結果では重複が排除されています。ドキュメントの配列フィールドが複数の比較値と一致しても、結果セットにそのドキュメントが含まれるのは 1 回だけです。

array-contains-any は、常に配列データ型でフィルタを行います。たとえば、上記のクエリで、regions フィールドが配列でなく west_coast の文字列である場合 city ドキュメントは返されません。

配列値を in の比較値として使用することもできますが、その場合、array-contains-any とは異なり、句が配列の長さ、順序、値のすべてと完全一致しなければなりません。次に例を示します。

制限事項

innot-inarray-contains-any の次の制限事項に注意してください。

  • Cloud Firestore では、orinarray-contains-any 演算子を使用した論理 OR クエリがサポートされています。これらのクエリは、クエリの分離句の通常の形式に基づいて 30 の分離に制限されます
  • 分離(or グループ)ごとに 1 つの array-contains 句を使用できます。同じ分離の中で array-containsarray-contains-any を組み合わせることはできません。
  • not-in と不等値 != を組み合わせることはできません。
  • not-in は最大 10 個までの比較値をサポートします。

複合(AND)クエリ

複数の等価演算子(== または array-contains)を連結することで、制約を論理 AND と組み合わせることができます。ただし、等式演算子と不等式演算子 <<=>!= を組み合わせるには、複合インデックスを作成する必要があります。

クエリのパフォーマンスを説明する

Cloud Firestore では、バックエンドでクエリのパフォーマンスを測定し、バックエンドでのクエリの実行に関する詳細なパフォーマンス統計を受け取ることができます。

Query Explain の結果は、非効率性やサーバー側でボトルネックになっている可能性のある箇所を示しており、クエリがどのように実行されるかを理解するうえで役立ちます。

クエリの制限事項

次のリストは、Cloud Firestore クエリの制限をまとめたものです。

  • Cloud Firestore では、orinarray-contains-any 演算子を使用した論理 OR クエリがサポートされています。これらのクエリは、クエリの分離句の通常の形式に基づいて 30 の分離に制限されます
  • 分離(or グループ)ごとに 1 つの array-contains 句を使用できます。同じ分離の中で array-containsarray-contains-any を組み合わせることはできません。
  • 同じクエリ内で not-ininarray-contains-anyor を組み合わせることはできません。
  • 1 つのクエリごとに not-in または != を 1 つのみ使用できます。
  • not-in は最大 10 個までの比較値をサポートします。
  • クエリ内のフィルタ、並べ替え順指定、親ドキュメント パス(サブコレクションの場合は 1、ルート コレクションの場合は 0)の数の合計は、100 を超えることはできません。これは、クエリの分離句の通常の形式に基づいて計算されます。
  • フィールドに対して不等式フィルタを使用したクエリでは、そのフィールドによる順序付けも意味し、そのフィールドの存在をフィルタします。

OR クエリの制限

クエリの計算コストが高くならないようにするために、Cloud Firestore では、結合できる AND 句と OR 句の数が制限されています。この制限を適用するために、Cloud Firestore は論理 OR オペレーション(orinarray-contains-any)を実行するクエリを分離された正規形式ANDOR とも呼ばれます)に変換します。Cloud Firestore では、クエリの分離句の通常の形式に基づいて、クエリを最大 30 の分離に制限します。

分離句の通常の形式

Cloud Firestore は、次の 2 つのルールを適用して、クエリを分離句の通常の形式に変換します。

  • 平坦化

    条件 ABC がある場合:

  • 分配法

    条件 ABCD がある場合:

orderBy とフィールドの存在

特定のフィールドを基準にクエリを並べ替えると、order-by フィールドが存在するドキュメントのみを返すことができます。

たとえば、次のクエリでは、クエリ フィルタを満たす場合でも、population フィールドが設定されていないドキュメントは返されません。
